Our story

Forage was created by me (Naomi) and Tim in December 2021. We met in 2017 when our hospitality paths crossed and since then we’ve been dreaming of our very own venue. When the opportunity came up in Strathfieldsaye we couldn't resist the chance to create a cafe together.

We have over 25 years of hospitality experience between us with Tim being Bendigo born and bred (I'm sure you've seen his face around somewhere!) meanwhile I trained in England then in 2014 moved and eventually found my way to Bendigo.

My wife Jess and I along with Tim and his husband Linton threw ourselves into getting Forage up and running. Within a couple of months we opened our doors and since then the support has been absolutely incredible.

Jess and I have since had our son, Thatcher. Tim and Linton have also welcomed their son, Rupert. Every single person who chooses to come into Forage supports our little families and we’re grateful to each and everyone of you.
